IRAN AND UNITED STATES PEACE AGREEMENT

The United States and Iran have agreed to a 60-day roadmap for a final peace agreement following intensive high-level negoyiations mediated by Qatar and Pakistan in Burgenstock, Switzerland. This major diplomatic breakthrough aims to permamently end the recent war between the two nations, resulting in a sharp dip in global oil prices and a rally in international stock markets.

Nuclear Inspection Access: US Vice President  JD Vance announced that Iran has officially agreed to allow United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors back into the country. This will verify its compliance with the preliminary agreement at key nuclear sites previously struck during the conflict.

Lebanon De-confliction Cell: Navigating rocky opening sessio where the Iranian delegation briefly threatened to walk out over aggressive social media posts by US President Donald Trump, negotiators successfully established a "de-confliction cell" to de-escalate ongoing clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Financial and Trade Relief: Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi confirmed that under the interim framework, blockades are being  lifted, some frozen assets are being released, and oil and petrochemical exports have been granted waivers. The US is exploring a mechanism through Qatar to unfreeze additional funds exclusively for purcahse of American soy, corn and wheat .
